Guionista y directora de documentales con el corazón en la tierra. Asesora de Guión de los largometrajes híbridos de la directora australiana Gabrielle Brady “The Wolves Always Come at Night«, estrenado en el Platform Prize del Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2024) y nominada como Mejor Película Extranjera en la edición 98 de los Oscars; y The Island of the Hungry Ghosts ganador de mejor documental por TRIBECA Film Festival 2018, Premio Buyens-Chagoll en Vision Du Reel 2018 y Mejor Sonido en Documental por el Festival AACTA.

Guionista de los cortometrajes experimentales de la artista performance nicaragüense Elyla, incluídos «Prayer for Tending Death» selección oficial del Festival de Rotterdam y del Berlin Queer Film Festival 2025, pieza que actualmente se encuentra en en exhibición en el Museo Reina Sofía de España; y de Torita Encuetada estrenado en la Biennale de Venecia 2024 y actualmente en exposición en el museo Thyseen Bornwmisza “Terrafilia” 2025.

Su guión híbrido “Estática Milagrosa” ganó el Encuentro de Coproducción del Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara en el 2015 y los laboratorios de desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos BRLab 07 y CINERGIA Lab 2014.

Guionista de “A dos voces” documental de Gabriel Serra ganador del Festival de Cine Centroamericano ICARO 2017. Directora de documentales ambientales, entre ellos el cortometraje «DuleIna» estrenado en Our Village en la Semana del Clima de Nueva York 2023 y «Guiadas por la Luna» estrenado en el Festival Internacional de Cine ICARO en Panamá 2024.

También dirigió y produjo la serie sobre el acceso al agua: «Victorina», «Rosario» y «Comunidad», estrenada en el Festival de Cine de Las Américas (Austin, Texas 2024) y el proceso de reforestación de la Reserva Natural La Muralla en Honduras, como parte del documental internacional «Un trillón de árboles» para Eden Reforestation Projects.

Actualmente vive en Cusco, Perú, trabajando de forma independiente en la realización de documentales sobre agroecología, conservación de bosques y medicina ancestral.

Director of environmental documentaries, including the short film «DuleIna» premiered in Our Village at New York Climate Week 2023 y «Guided by the Moon», premiered at the ICARO Film Festival in Panama (2024) and the series on access to water: «Victorina», «Rosario» and «Comunidad», premiered at the Las Americas Film Festival (Austin, Texas 2024). She also directed the documentation of the reforestation process in La Muralla Natural Reserve in Honduras, as part of the international documentary «A Trillion Trees» for Eden Reforestation Projects.

She is currently living in Cusco, Peru, working independently in the making of documentaries on agroecology, forest conservation and ancestral medicine.

Miriam Morris, is one of the Bundorgan Women’s, who created a sacred botanical garden in Bingandi, where the first Learning and Education Center for Traditional Medicine and Agroecology of the Guna people is being created in Panama.
